Brooklyn, NY– John Quaglione currently holds the most endorsements related to public safety in the race for City Council’s 43rd District seat. Today, Quaglione is announcing the official endorsement of:
● FDNY Uniformed EMS Officers Union, Local 3621
● FDNY Uniformed EMT’s, Paramedics and Fire Inspectors, Local 2507
● FDNY Uniformed Fire Alarm Dispatchers Benevolent Association.
“I am honored to have received the endorsements of these strong unions--the unsung heroes of our city. These unions endorsed me because the safety and security of our public safety professionals and residents has been, and will continue to be, my priority. That's why, if elected, my first committee choice would be the New York City Council Public Safety Committee”, said Quaglione.
Quaglione also earned support from the Uniformed Firefighters Association (UFA), the union representing New York City Firefighters.
“Your [John Quaglione’s] experience and concern for public safety, public safety professionals, working families, our education system and the economy of our city will certainly be major assets to the people of Brooklyn and the City of New York”, stated the official endorsement letter.
Quaglione is a candidate for Brooklyn's 43rd District that includes the neighborhoods of Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Bath Beach and Bensonhurst. For more information on the campaign, visit www.votejohnq.com.
