Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association Endorses John Quaglione For New York City Council in Brooklyn Republican City Council Primary

Brooklyn, NY- City Council Candidate John Quaglione announced today his official endorsement by the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association in the Republican Primary for New York City Council's 43rd District.

“I am honored to be endorsed by the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association. I look forward to working with the men and women of the NYPD to keep crime off the streets of Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst, Dyker Heights and Bath Beach. I am thankful for the hard work and sacrifice, of those assigned to the 68th and 62nd Precincts, to keep us safe. I believe that it is important to increase the number of police officers patrolling our community, as well as creating an “Eyes on the Street database,” said John Quaglione.

“I look forward to working with all members of the police department to keep not only our district safe, but also the City as a whole. It is imperative that the NYPD have additional resources to protect the City of New York and themselves in their mission to keep us the safest large City in America,” continued Quaglione.

In issuing the endorsement, PBA President Patrick Lynch wrote, “On behalf of the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association of the City of New York, it is my pleasure to announce our endorsement of your candidacy in the Republican primary for the 43rd New York City Council District. Your commitment to addressing the issues affecting New York City police officers is well recognized. We look forward to continuing to work with you towards our shared goal of a stronger, safer New York.”

John Quaglione has also been endorsed by State Senator Marty Golden, the Lieutenants Benevolent Association, the Port Authority Sergeant’s Benevolent Association, the Uniformed Firefighters Association, the Corrections Officers’ Benevolent Association, the Detective’s Endowment Association, the Uniformed Sanitation’s Association Local 831 (GOP Primary,) the Uniformed Fire Officers Association (GOP Primary,) the John Jay College Republicans, Siera Club (GOP Primary,) and Citizens Union (GOP Primary)
