Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association Local 831 endorses John Quaglione for New York City Council
City Council Candidate John Quaglione announced his endorsement by the Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association Local 831 in the upcoming Republican primary for the 43rd Council District on Tuesday, September 12th.
“It’s an honor to be endorsed by the hardworking members of the Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association. There’s a reason they’re called New York’s Strongest. These guys are out there every day making sure the city runs smoothly. We rely on them to keep our community clean and our roads safe during snowstorms. We’re working together to keep improving our community’s quality of life,” said John Quaglione.
In announcing the endorsement, Local 831 President Harry Nespoli said, “Quaglione’s work as a senior staff member of Senator Marty Golden has given him a unique perspective of how to get things done in this city. We’re proud to stand with him.”
The Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association represents 6,400 active Sanitation men and women and more than 8,000 retired members.
John Quaglione has been endorsed by State Senator Marty Golden, the Uniformed Firefighters Association, the Corrections Officers’ Benevolent Association, the Port Authority Sergeants Benevolent Association, and the John Jay College Republicans.
