Laborers’ International Union of North America endorses John Quaglione for City Council
Brooklyn, NY -- On November 1st, John Quaglione announced his official endorsement by the Laborers’ International Union of North America - New York (LiUNA-NY) for his bid for City Council. LiUNA-NY is the joint political action collaboration formed by the NYS Laborers’ PAC and Mason Tenders District Council PAC to advance candidates that support the unionized construction industry in NYC.
“John Quaglione stands up for working people and a strong middle class. The Laborers’ are proud to support him in the 43rd City Council District in Brooklyn,” said a spokesperson for LiUNA-NY.
Less than a week away from the election day, Quaglione has secured the endorsements of over 15 unions. His strong labor support comes as a result of his commitment to public safety and his support of a strong working class. As a life-long Bay Ridge resident, John Quaglione knows the importance of unions in maintaining safe working conditions and livable wages for the people who make this city work.
